“ The seafood was very fresh, broth tastes very good. The one with lala had a lot of lalas in it! The 3-4 pax noodle and porridge is actually quite smalll in size. It taste good but mainly a lot of prawns and not enough noodle and porridge. Rather pricy to pay for that. ”

We arrived around 5 PM, and there was already a noticeable crowd, a good sign of a popular spot. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor and roomy interior. The ambiance felt welcoming and well thought out. We tried several dishes, and each one stood out. The seafood curry noodle was a highlight—flavorful with a rich, aromatic broth. You can even request extra broth at no extra charge, which is a nice touch. The fish ball appetizer was also delicious, fresh and bouncy with great seasoning. But the star for me was the sang har noodle with regular prawn—the noodles had a fantastic texture, and the sauce was packed with flavor. There was a minor hiccup with one of our orders, but the staff handled it excellently, replacing it immediately with no questions asked. A couple of suggestions for improvement: Once the plates are empty, it would be helpful if staff could clear them out, especially since the tables are on the smaller side. Offering a secondary dessert menu after the meal could enhance the dining experience for those looking to end on a sweet note. Overall, Yu Village is a great spot for seafood lovers. The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is charming. Highly recommended! ”
